Two associated issues are a major concern today. GTT is concerned about supplying nutrition to its beneficiaries. Under SBLIF it has Mushroom Seed Social Business and Honey Processing Social Business project. Mushroom Seed Social Business project involves the production and supply of locally produced safe and completely organic mushroom seeds/spawns throughout Chittagong Hill Tracks (CHT). The aim of Honey Processing Social Business project is to locally produce hygienic honey. On an average per 100 kg gives 98% pure honey. When it comes to projects of food, GTT prioritizes healthy and nutritious food before investing. GTT is contributing to address malnutrition in Bangladesh through a joint venture with Danone, a French company.
