Two academicians from Department of Business and Economic Studies of University of Gävle, Sweden Dr. Akmal S. Hyder, Professor of Business Administration and Dr. Maria Fregidou-Malama, Assistant Professor visited Grameen Telecom Trust (GTT) on April 24, 2019 to learn Social Business (SB) from the activities of GTT. Mr. Jayanta Kumer Bosu, Team Leader, SB along with Mr. Mehdi Imam, Deputy Manager, SB explained the SB activities of GTT especially Nobin Program (New Entrepreneurs) and projects under Social Business Learning and Innovation Fund (SBLIF). Mr. Bosu described the origin and evolution of Microfinance and Social Business in Bangladesh and he also responded to a number of queries from the professors.
