Under SBIF, GTT has signed a MoU with SDRS (Social Development Rural Society), an NGO from Gaibandha to commence the very first Social Business Project. The project titled ‘SDRS Social Business Project’ will focus on enhancing income of women belonging to poor household by ensuring they get the best price for producing caps that will be exported to Oman. The MoU signing ceremony was held at the corporate office of GTT. Ms. Parveen Mahmud, Managing Director of GTT will be working as the Project Director and Mr. Md. Golam Mostofa, Executive Director of GTT, as the Chief Operating Officer of the project. Representatives from both GTT and SDSRS were present at the ceremony and exchanged pleasantries and hoped that the project will be successfully implemented.
