Despite very low per capita emissions, Bangladesh could be among the worst affected regions by climate change. GTT has taken the goal for urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts (SDG-13) as a critical challenge. There are three SBLIF projects under Social Business learning and Innovation Fund: Mobile Plant and Nursery Clinic, Red Worm Vermicomposting and Mushroom Seed Social Business project that are directly addressing environment issue. The projects are working for increasing greenery, farming organic way and using organic fertilizer to combat climate change. Environmentally harmful projects are not considered for NU projects following principles of social business.
