Delegates from Yunus Centre visited GTT

On 19 February, 2018, Yunus Centre organized a visit for a group of visitors from three different countries for learning about social business and activities of Grameen Telecom Trust (GTT).  The visitors were Ms. Bianca Miccione (student, Italy), Ms. Natalia Cortes (NGO activist, Colombia) and Ms. Syeda Maliha Haq (Bangladeshi student from Sunway University, Malaysia).

The guests participated in an In-house Design Lab to gather practical knowledge about the final stape of the selection process of Nobin Udyokta- NU (New Entrepreneur) of GTT. Later they participated in a discussion meeting where Mr. Manjur Ahmed (Head of HR & Administration) explained the activities of GTT. Mr. Abu Nayeem (Manager, Social Business & Program Support, GTT) facilitated power point presentation to give them clear information on activities of GTT.

The visitors had many questions regarding social business and activities of GTT and GTT team had their questions answered.

The visitors also received a gift package from GTT.  The visit concluded with a group photo and the visitors signed the visitor’s book with their comments.
