The first Board Meeting of “Samajik Health Science Institute and Research Center” was held on 31 October, 2016 at Yunus Centre. Samajik Health Science Institute and Research Center (SHSRIC) is a social business enterprise comprised of hospital, medical college, nursing college and medical technology institute. Grameen Telecom Trust (GTT), Grameen Telecom (GTC) and Grameen Kalyan (GK) have jointly invested in Health Complex ONE project which is now transformed into a full fledged company.

The Board of Directors (BOD) was formed with Prof. Mohammed Yunus as the Chairperson. The other members are Prof. H.I. Latifee (Member, Board of Trustee, Grameen Telecom Trust), Ms. Nurjahan Begum (Member, Management Board, Grameen Kalyan), Mr. Md. Imamus Sultan (Managing Director, Grameen Kalyan), Mr. M. Shahjahan (Member, Board of Trustee, Grameen Telecom Trust), Ms. Parveen Mahmud (Managing Director, Grameen Telecom Trust), Mr. Ashraful Hassan (CEO, Grameen Telecom Trust) and Mr. Kishwar Imdad (CEO, Samajik Health Science Institute and Research Center).

The Chief Executive Officer of SHSIRC, Mr. Kishwar Imdad was also present in the meeting as ex-officio.
