An award giving ceremony was held in Grameen Bank auditorium, organized by Grameen Telecom Trust, Garmeen Shakti Samajik Baybsa Ltd., Grameen Trust and Grameen Kalyan. 01 Best Nobin Udyokta and 01 field staff from each organization were awarded with a crest and a certificate by Nobel Laureate Prof. Muhammad Yunus for their outstanding performance.

The award giving ceremony started with the welcome speech by Prof. Yunus. In his speech he said, The Nobin Udyokta Program started with the objectives of employment generation and establish the second generation of the Grameen Bank members as successful entrepreneurs. Both of the objectives proved to be successful, though we are still at the early stage. Afterwards, the award winning Best NUs and the Best Staffs expressed their feelings. They also answered different question from the audience. The program was attended by distinguished guests including Mr. Salehuddin Ahmed (Former Governor, Bangladesh Bank).
