The Twenty-Fifth (25) Nobin Udyokta Screening Exercise of Grameen Telecom Trust (GTT) was held with Two Hundred and Twenty (220) participants; Fifty-Five (55) of them were female. The day long screening exercise took place on Saturday, 19 March, 2017 at Noypara Institute, Jessore under GTT’s Noypara unit office. The day long exercise included briefing, discussion and break away sessions was conducted by the team of social business of GTT and lead by Mr. Jayanta Kumer Bosu (Team Leader, Social Business, Grameen Telecom Trust).

The Twenty-Fourth (24) Screening Exercise of GTT was held on Wednesday, 22 February 2017 at Upazila Auditorium, Pirganj, Rangpur. The Screening Exercise was conducted by Mr. Md. Mainuddin (Panel officer, GTT), Mr. Md. Joynul Abedin (Area Manager,Rangpur, GTT) & Mr. Md. Ruhul Amin, (Area Manager, Thakurgaon, GTT) with Two-Hundred and Twelve (212) participants; Ten (10) of them were female.

Screening Exercise is the first stage of Nobin Udyokta-NU (New Entrepreneur) Program of GTT that scouts young and aspiring entrepreneurs who are children of Grameen Bank borrowers. GTT not only provides investment but also supports the NUs with financial literacy. It’s a day long group interactive exercise aiming to explain the details of the Nobin Udyokta Program (NUP), spread the message of the objectives of GTT and the idea of social business among aspiring entrepreneurs, followed by group discussions and question-answer session.
