Grameen Telecom Trust (GTT) organized its 19th Screening Exercise Lab in Sadar, Nilphamari with One Hundred and Thirty Five (135) participants. It was held on 12 November, 2016 at a private convention centre (Ebadot Plaza) in Sadar. The event was conducted by the team of Social Business of GTT, lead by K.M. Saleheen (Coordinator, Social Business, Grameen Telecom Trust).

Screening Exercise Lab is the first stage of indentifying Nobin Udyokta-NU (New Entrepreneur). It’s a day long group interactive exercise aiming to explain the details of the Nobin Udyokta Program (NUP), spread the message of the objectives of GTT and the idea of social business among aspiring entrepreneurs, followed by group discussions and question-answer session.

Nobin Udyokta Program is established by Grameen Telecom Trust (GTT) with a vision to encourage new entrepreneurs all over Bangladesh who would generate employment rather than being just an employee. The program is curbed to children of Grameen Bank members only, aged between 18-35 years and flexibility for women, who thrive to be an entrepreneur establishing the motto of NUP; “We Are Not Job Seekers, We Are Job Givers”
